I’ve often talked about using tall mirrors as a design feature in bathroom design or in the design of spaces with high ceilings.
On occasion, I’ve had hard times convincing clients to use them. And I’m using today’s post to point out how they can absolutely be a good thing for your space. ;-)
A tall mirror in a bathroom can add volume to the space.
And, yes, I know you can’t see yourself above seven feet unless you’re in the NBA, but...a tall mirror reflects light and other beautiful objects in the room, as well as visually increases the volume.
But I would invite you to consider the scale of the mirror on the wall and its relationship to the ceiling height overall.
These tall mirrors, below, do exactly what they’re supposed to. They visually heighten the room, reflect light and volume, make the space feel more open and spacious, and accentuate the attributes of the room.
