Final Photos From Past Designed-in-a-Click Consultations

I’m sharing some final photos of two different Designed in a Click consultations that I worked on awhile back. I get lots of requests to see the “afters” of some of these consultations and today, I’m excited to share these two that turned out beautifully!

Designed in a Click Consultation - Family Room Fireplace / Bookshelf Wall

Here’s a family room where the homeowner needed some help with their fireplace / bookcase wall. I offered a few suggestions for their furnishings here too.

This is the before pic of their wall. I felt like the dark painted wood was a little overpowering here and the high contrast should be minimized. The shelving was inset into the wall as you can see and I tried to modify that to work with what they had, as I could tell that was preferred.

Here was a graphic I created to give them an idea of what a proposed.

And here’s how it turned out!

They didn’t make the complete change on the fireplace I suggested, but they did change the mantel to something lighter in color. That’s what this service is all about, some advice for you to interpret and create on your own.

They did go all in and completely redid the built-in. I really like how this turned out. I will tell you, completely redoing cabinetry can make such a difference. It always looks so much neater and more well-designed, rather than just covering with paint.

Designed in a Click Consultation - Kitchen Remodel

The second Designed in a Click consultation is a kitchen remodel where the homeowner was trying to figure out a new layout for their kitchen.

While I gave them 3 different solutions, at 3 different budget levels. I did encourage them to hire someone locally, in their area, to handle their project. They found some local pros they enjoyed working with and did a major remodel.

They recently sent me a few photos and I’m thrilled to share them with you today. They wanted to do an island as opposed to a peninsula, although they had a rather tight kitchen depth, so there was lots to consider.
