KBIS 2025 Trends - Colors and Finishes

March 08, 2025 in Bath, Kitchen, Products, Color, Trending

KBIS 2025, the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, was fantastic this year.

On top of being a huge show, with a record setting 43,000 attendees and 700 exhibitors, everyone I talked to seemed to agree that brands brought their A game and were there to impress. I saw so many amazing booths and products and I’m here to share what grabbed my attention and had me circling back for another peek.

There was a lot of color introduced this year with companies seeming to offer more options, especially in the luxury brands.

Color in Appliances

What can I say, color does catch the eye, doesn’t it? Many appliance brands introduced color in their products this year.

This is Officine Gullo from Italy. Such gorgeous colors and so many choices!

You can have your range custom colored. :-)

Smeg featured matte finishes on their colorful fridges. Love these!

True Residential had many colors, along with this beautiful champagne finish. What a nice warm tone compared to a bright stainless. I’m wishing this color could be available in many brands.

Even Kitchenaid is getting in on the colorful looks these days. This new juniper color is sleek and sophisticated.

These were in the new Black Ore finish, a matte warm black. These are powder coated, not painted, so they will wear well.

Now here is an on-trend color for sure, a reddish, bordeaux tone, the “oxblood” color trend, as one designer labeled it. You will see this more on down the post.

Ilve has gorgeous color choices on their beautiful appliances.

This incredible brass work of art is from L’Atelier Paris. That rubbed finish was beautiful and it was so interesting to see the brass on brass look with the handles and knobs. I’m not sure I liked the finish best or the fact that the burners are recessed, so that the grille is flush with the top. You slide pots and pans all across that surface with no interruption.

Colorful sinks and plumbing fixtures

Brightly colored sinks and tubs were shown at Toto.

Love these concrete sinks from Lacava.

Concrete sinks from Concretti and look at that cold plunge tub!

Want only a touch of color in your plumbing fixtures? How about a faucet handle from Kohler or a drying rack from Karran.

Walnut Wood Finishes Popping up Everywhere

Walnut is definitely the wood du jour these days. I’m so happy about that as it is a rich, gorgeous wood that naturally isn’t too light or too dark. I saw it in cabinetry, cabinet interiors, pulls and faucets.

I saw lots of walnut cabinetry at this year’s show.

Love this finish combination in the Fabuwood Cabinetry booth.

Walnut pulls on this deluxe French range add a touch of warmth.

Rev-a-shelf is now adding walnut to their cabinet organizational products, coming this spring! It will make your cabinet interiors as nice looking as the exteriors while helping to keep you organized.

Oxblood, Sage Green, Warm Neutrals Repeated Throughout the Show

This spectacular room in the Kohler booth had a marble tub and mosaic floor in the oxblood color trend.

Moen booth showcases the oxblood / bordeaux color trend.

It showed up in tiles and slab materials too.

Kitchen designer, Richard Anuszkiewicz is Monogram’s creative director and he always designs an amazing booth experience for their brand. He used this oxblood color in the kitchen area.

Sage or these grassy, muted greens are still popular and coming on strong.

True Residential featured sage green refrigeration.

More sage green coming in tiles.

I’m going to save the warm neutral trend for my next post. Just like we’ve seen at High Point Market and elsewhere, warm neutrals are here to stay!
