I watched a few home design shows recently where the boomer-and-older generation was the client age group and honestly, I found some of the design ideas to be really not fitting for this older population.

Since my recent trip to Highpoint, I’ve had warm tones like terracotta, blush, cinnamon, ocher, etc. on my mind. I happened to receive a few rug samples I’d ordered awhile back just this past week, and I put together a couple of schemes based on these colors.
