Gorgeous powder blue sofas in the Sherrill Furniture showroom.

The Color Blue was Back at High Point Market!

May 03, 2025 in Color, Trending, Products, Furniture, Decorating

I have been reporting all about warm colors the last few years at High Point Market, terracotta, rust, beige, etc. Well, the color that I saw the most at High Point this past week, besides a neutral cream or white, was blue!

I have to say, the blues have really been absent in recent years, but they were definitely shown this spring market. I have to say, I love it.

I’m a fan of all the blues and it was nice to see some cool colors for sure. Blues are just so easy to live with. Let’s take a look at some of my lovely images collected from various showrooms.

Powder blue velvet sectional banquette with a gorgeous robin’s egg blue wall and salmon pillows at Highland House.

Navy and white geometrics at the Kravet showroom.

New Italian lighting was shown in some beautiful blues in the Wildwood showroom.

Several blues were mixed here in Wesley Hall showroom.

This skirted side chair was seen at Gabby Home Decor.

Navy plaid seen in the Chaddock showroom.

These lovely blue iris botanicals framed in white from Ornis Gallery.

Here’s a strong navy geometric in the Fairfield Chair showrom.

This sweet skirted velvet settee was in the Hickory Chair showroom.

This blue check reminds me of French country style in the Fabricut showroom.

Not only was there blue on upholstered goods and walls, but also on case goods. Worlds Away showroom.

Thibaut pairs this lovely blue with pink and other sherbet type colors.

Doesn’t the blue rug make a lovely backdrop for tthis burl wood table? Mr. and Mrs. Howard for Sherrill Furniture.

Design Legacy, known for the whole gamut of color offerings, had a wall of blue too!

More blue at the Sherrill showroom with a bulbous swivel chair and an inviting, long sectional. This just says “cabana” to me. What about you?

There is something for everyone at High Point Market, so I’ll be sharing a few other colors that were stand outs in upcoming posts. However, if you’ve been contemplating updating your color scheme from blue because you think it is out of style, think again! You might be more on trend than you think. :-)

Check back for more of my HPMKT finds in the next few weeks!

Here are some of the color trends I saw at Fall market. You can see blue was not one of them!
