I’m just back from Fall High Point Market this week and I got a big dose of warm, fall-like colors (and they weren’t only in the trees!)
This season almost every showroom featured a lot of the colors of the year that have been recently named for 2026 by leading paint companies.
A dark, chocolatey-brown tone from Benjamin Moore, Silhouette.
A warm tan color from Sherwin Williams, Universal Khaki.
A lovely smoky jade color from Behr, Hidden Gem.
I do love a strong chocolate brown and that green is especially versatile in my opinion. These colors are all more or less what is being seen on Instagram these days, as many of you may know.
So, let’s see some examples of these colors and how they were presented at market.
Dark browns seen at Hooker Furniture showrooms.
Brown marble table tops in the Gabby showroom.
A brown on brown look in the Kravet showroom.
There was definitely more dark brown wood furniture shown this market, like here at Hickory Chair. I can remember some years ago when everything was white painted wood.
I’d say this was a definite SW “Universal Khaki” color chenille in the Dovetail showroom.
More of the Universal Khaki color here paired with green. I do love the shape of this leather ottoman with a vintage feel.
The Thibaut showroom, usually full of light, colorful patterns, was more neutral this time. They now carry Corragio wallcovering and featured some of their products on the walls of their showroom.
This chocolate brown cork wallcovering with a metallic strie pattern was one I actually purchased for myself after seeing it! I’m so excited to get it installed in my study at home.

Nothing beats a dark chocolate Belgian linen and this is the lounge chair that Belgian antique dealer, Axel Vervoordt, made famous. It was tucked away in a little gallery area in the magical 313 Spaces building.
Corey Damen Jenkins, a well-known luxury designer, with books and a tv show, designs furniture for the Maitland Smith company. He did a stunning job as usual with their showroom that featured his products. I love that rich, spruce green leather on the chairs.

These coconut shell light fixtures from Arteriors are dyed a green color and make a dynamic, organic and colorful statement. This color is oh-so-similar to the Behr, Hidden Gem color.
A fully upholstered bed in a green similar to Behr’s Color of the Year, from Sherrill Furniture.
Many of the greens went more sage or olive, not quite as much of a pine green, but it was a darker green nonetheless.

Lovely warm tones against a green suede-like wallcovering in the Revelation showroom.
Revelation had a whole series of green stained wood furniture.
Sage green chairs with dark brown wood pieces at Dovetail Furniture.
Here was a vibrant olive-ish green in the Kravet showroom.
This interesting chest has green leather wrapped drawers, from Hickory Chair.
Green leathers from Moore & Giles in the 313 Spaces.
Warm toned floral chintz and velvet along with an olive green glossy table was seen in Highland House. This showroom is known for it’s lovely painted pastel color walls in each room. Seeing the brown/gold color was a bit of a shock for me. :-)

Accessories at the Foster’s Point showroom followed these colors too.
As did some of the art showrooms.
Even the antique shops and booths got into this color palette.
