Oh yes, I know you love it. You and your kids will LOVE the upstairs part of this beautiful showcase home. I'm sharing some more sneak peeks here with you today......the guest house too!
I'm just SURE you all read my post about the downstairs part of this lovely home, north of the Houston area (unscathed by Harvey, by the way). If you, per chance, missed it, then here it is.
Built by Morningstar Builders and designed by Chairma Design Group, this custom home, built with the standards of the Southern Living plans and builder network, just shines, nestled up to the Bluejack National Golf Club. I had my tour with some other lucky bloggers and press people and I have to say, they didn't skimp on the details, even upstairs.
You can see that cool bunk room above, with a built-in desk and drawers in the steps. It's an all-in-one bedroom and great for sleepovers. Love the rustic shiplap on the back wall (indestructible) with the white railings adding that southern charm, just like on a southern style porch. :-)
This cute room, below, is the girl's hang out space.
Just darlin'. :-) (I know, I couldn't resist. I am a born Texan, you know.)
And check out the pretty wallpaper in one of the bathrooms. Wallpaper adds such personality and style to a bathroom design.
Here's another bath with some cool tile designs.
Of course, we need a well coordinated media/game room with all the latest toys, these from Joystix.
The art is really special in this house and I mentioned before that you can shop for art in the house, just like in an art gallery. This piece is from Gremillion & Co. I just love it.
This piece below was created by Sarita Ackerman from a dress up costume of the homeowner's daughter. Those costumes were made by the the homeowner's mother for their children. Adorable!
Like I said, this house is full of cool ideas and details. Now, on to the guest house.
Wouldn't you love to stay here and have a nice kitchenette available?
There's a living room, upstairs rooms and then this bedroom on the ground floor.
I don't know about you, but I'm ready to climb right in. (Some of this bedding is linked below.) Check ya later folks.
Get your tickets for this showcase home HERE. And remember, these charities, HomeAid and Operation Finally Home, helping Hurricane Harvey victims, are some of the beneficiaries of the proceeds. The showhouse is open weekends from Sept 15th to Oct 29th.
Many thanks to my friends at Chairma Design Group for the special invite and tour!
If you missed my first post, then check it out HERE.
SHOP THE POST: Many of the smaller decor items in the house came from the Southern Living collection at Dillard's. Check out the ones seen in the images above, right here.
