I’ve been doing some styling or accessorizing for a few projects lately.
I go out and shop, cart over a carload full of accessories and decorative items, and then with the help of my two employees, take a few hours to style bookcases, table tops, consoles, etc.
It’s a lot of fun, a lot of work, and for the homeowner, it gets it all done fast and saves them loads of time.
I have a few great resources for accessories that I can take out on loan.
After shopping, we set it all up in a client’s home. The client reviews it, lives with it for a few days, and then lets me know what they want to keep or (hopefully not) take away.
For several rooms, this might be a process that happens in two or three installs. The first time we play a lot, seeing how things work and fit appropriately and we take note of certain areas we need to fill. The next install fills in all the holes and fine tunes things. We might even special order some items to fill in, and then install those.

Today I’ve prepared for you a shopping board full of accessories you could use in a “rustic chic” type of interior space.
These are some must-have items for styling any living room with the textured, white-washed, natural yet refined look that a rustic chic style portrays. I love the natural elements and that hint of brass to add the “chic” to the vignette!
Not only that, but it also combines cool and warm tones so well, just as I described in those posts about mixing beige and grey.
