Custom anything is hot right now.
At this summer's Las Vegas Market, I attended a seminar where Thom Filicia, Michelle Nussbaumer, and Timothy Corrigan discussed trends in interior decor and design after viewing showrooms at market. The topic they kept returning to, again and again, was:
Anyone can get anything they want nowadays. If you want it, it’s on the web. Simply drop an image into the Google Images search engine and all the links you need to shop for your products will appear, instantly.
More and more often, I’m finding that homeowners don’t want something that anyone with an internet connection can have with the click of a mouse. They prefer their homes to reflect their personal tastes in style and not feel cookie cutter, or like it was just lifted out of a furniture catalog from a single source.
So how do you make your home personal, unique, and special?
However, you can take it a step further...
Part of the value that comes along with working with an interior designer is customization of furnishings or bespoke design. Whether it is upholstered pieces, custom cabinetry, window treatments, or bedding, designers have all the ingredients to personalize something special just for you, not only with regard to the mix of items in a space, but with each individual item.
Take a peek below at just a few of the special items we’ve customized for clients.
I’ve included some that are totally custom made and some that have just been tweaked. Enjoy!

BTW: I post pics of some of our project updates on Instagram. There are job site visit photos, workroom/warehouse visit photos, installation photos, shopping trip photos, etc. They’re all shared there when I capture them. So follow me on Instagram to see what we’re working on right now! ;-)
