We all have good intentions for how we’ll kick off the new year, don’t we.
The best time to begin your renewal for the new year is at the tail end of the holidays, when you're lolling around, relaxing and dreaming of rejuvenating yourself.
The best place to begin reorganizing the new you is at your home’s Command Central.
When my kids were younger, I had a command central in my kitchen.
It housed a lot of their stuff that came from all their activities, along with the items we used to organize it all: a tack board, designated baskets for papers and homework/projects, shelves and cabinets for storage, and a counter or work surface.
Oh, and I had a stool too, because I was always spending more time there than I intended!
I love these pictured here. (Not mine, btw, I would've loved any of these!)

Today I’m recommending some interesting organizational items that will help you prepare for the new year.
Because of all the busy visual clutter that gathers in these areas I’ve gone all neutral and white with the color scheme so it’s easy on the eyes.
It’s functional. It's beautiful. It's a win-win!
