Let's see...
We’ve done the entry hall, right? It's full of beautiful furnishings ready for your big Holiday party. You did order all that stuff, didn't you?
What about the powder room? Have you looked in there lately?
Does it look a little tired or used or “typical"? Does it needs some freshening up?
You have time, you know - time to do a fabulous powder room before your guests arrive.
You’ll need a new vanity or pedestal sink, a gleaming faucet, some special lighting, a glorious mirror, and some pattern to make things interesting. Oh, and some gorgeous wallpaper too!
Today we're going to go for a traditional, glamorous powder bath - a space to make your guests feel special and welcome.
It should work so nicely with the foyer/entry hall design we discussed last week. You are taking my recommendations here, aren’t you? :-)
Oh, and as for that marble top on the vanity... don’t go for the standard one. See if you can find a remnant of Cararra marble in a fabricator’s yard and do an ogee edge or maybe an arched backsplash like the one pictured.
