I put together a group of cozy home gift items a few years ago and it was so popular that I have done a major overhaul of this post and have some incredible new, fresh links to share.
These items make great gifts or might be just perfect to add to your cozy home this upcoming winter season.

In light of how our winter season is looking a little bleak right now, and how we might be staying in more than we ever have before, a few new things for your home might be just what you need to keep your spirits up. I included not only decor items this year, but some puzzles, games, books, etc., all designed to help us stay busy, cozily, during these upcoming winter months.
I had so much fun putting this together to help make your shopping easier.
Jigsaw Puzzles
During those first few months of Covid, I worked a few jigsaw puzzles. I’ve included a few here that I loved. Galison makes some really good ones, with pretty colors and patterns. I like those best. There’s a great mat I found on Amazon too, you can roll up your puzzle and the pieces and store it away instead of having to leave it out on a table until it is done. Now that’s handy!
Cooking at home
My husband has taken over the cooking in our house. Now that he is fully retired, it has become his biggest hobby. He watches a lot of Sam the Cooking Guy on Youtube and I hear Sam’s voice as I’m working at home. We’ve had many of his dishes in the last few months and I included his newest cookbook here as well.
Games For The Family
I have a few games here that we like to play, Codenames is one I’ve shared in the past. It is so much fun! We have a wide age range playing when we get together as a family and it is fun, challenging, and entertains us all during the holidays. I highly recommend it.
We’re getting Wingspan this year, my kids have played it and it has been written up as one of the best all around newish games out there.
I love those Smeg small appliances, leaving them out on your countertop a treat instead of an eyesore. I bought my daughter one in white for her apartment last year at Christmas.
Home Decor
I can’t help but peruse all the home decor out there that is perfect for making your home more cozy in winter months. Throws, pillows, stools, and woodsy decor to warm up your interior look all make your home more welcoming in the colder weather when everyone is indoors more.
Here's hoping you can get your holiday shopping done early this year and get ready to cozy up with your family for the holidays! It looks like we all might end up being housebound a little bit longer!
