For interior design bloggers, Pinterest can bring amazing traffic to our sites. We use that traffic to become more well-know and gain free exposure for our work.
But Pinterest benefits more than only interior designers—it's great for interior design clients too. It allows us an easy way to share ideas with them and put together design schemes for their projects.
I’ve seen some designers out there who use Pinterest as their communication tool with remote clients.
It helps build interest in: A. the project they are working on; B. the way they work; and C. their business in general.
It's not often that I use Pinterest with clients as a communication tool or to reference them to specific products for their projects.
Sometimes I use it to better illustrate to a client an idea I really want them to understand so they'll give me permission to make it happen in their home.
Here are some boards I used and held on to for that exact purpose:

This one I'm using to promote the use of a really bold print for a client's dining room draperies. By showing these images to her I'm able to convey how it might work in her interior space.
