I’ve been heavy into bathroom design for the past few years. It’s really sustained my business during the recession and even helped me grow.
In an area where many homes are around 15-25 years old and were thrown together so fast that leaks and cheap fixtures have become problems for homeowners, bathroom remodeling is hot business to be in.
And for you, the client, an updated bathroom can really update your life!
So today I’m sharing interesting links I found this weekend about bathroom design - specifically some that feature spectacular sinks you should be splashing around in your own home. I have a hunch they’ll have you dreaming of remodeling your entire bathroom ;-)
"Vessel sinks became very popular back in the 80's. They were a novelty back then, and were seen as something unique and, therefore, desirable.
Opinions have been varied about these sinks over the years: some said they were a trend and would become dated looking, others still like the ease of installation and the unique look that can be achieved."
It doesn't sound altogether glamorous, does it?
Generally reserved for driveways and sidewalks, we don't think of it as something that could be fabulous indoors.
But we are loving the look of concrete sinks. "
"In all honesty we haven't been focusing on the house recently. The weather has been lovely, and we've been spending most of our free time in the gardens with the kids...
Steve and I are actually enjoying living in a sparsely decorated house.
I am not sure if we'll be adding much more to our bathroom. The limited palette is a soothing way to start our day."
You’re dreaming of a new bathroom, aren’t you?
I knew you would ;-)
