OR maybe in the 80s or 90s you did something similar in jewel tones or gold?
Jumbo welts, Dupioni silk, tapestry toppers with tassels, big voluminous skirts with puddling, and possibly some bullion fringe?
Perhaps something she copied out of an old magazine?
Skirted tables have a much leaner look these days and I love it.
Tape trim is in. I love tape trim, and we try to use it as much as we can. It adds just the right amount of detailing without being too fussy. It takes on a more clean-lined appearance and looks so graphically appealing.
Inverted pleats are also in: a tailored, close to the body look that gives definition and a sophisticated elegance.
