E-Design is a new product here at CarlaA ston.com that gives you the opportunity to utilize my style and expertise for design projects in your home, no matter where you live, at a more affordable rate. You gather the information we need to design your space and within 3-4 weeks, you will receive your design package full of useful information to put the project together yourself.

I’ve gotten so many requests over the years for consultations just to give direction and ideas. This is my answer for those requests. With my design direction and your legwork, you’re sure to end up with a beautiful, functional space you can feel proud YOU were part of creating. Let’s get started! (Rates listed below...)

Step 1 | Help Us Help You!

Before the E-Design process begins, we're going to need a handful of insights and items from you that will help us help you design the perfect environment you've been longing for.

Your quick homework assignment will look like this:

1. Questionnaire

We'll send you a questionnaire to answer and submit.

2. Inspiration

Send us design inspiration photos for your room via e-mail. Or you can upload them to your Pinterest or Houzz profile and send us the link.

3. Photos

Take photos of all four walls (or more) of the room to be designed, as well as pictures of your adjacent spaces. (Again, upload them to us via email or send us a link to your Houzz or Pinterest board.)

4. Measurements

Click for specific instructions on how to measure.

5. Payment

We accept all major credit cards. Transactions are safely and securely processed via Square or PayPal.

Step 2 | E-Design begins!

After we've gathered your payment and insights, the E-Design process will begin. And once we're finished, you'll receive the following tools to help you design your environment yourself!

1. Floor plan

A scaled drawing showing locations of furnishings. Click here to view sample floor plan.

2. Wall Elevations

Done to scale, this shows architectural features and window treatments. Click here to view a sample elevation model.

3. Digital Storyboard

A graphic collage of the items selected for your project that will help you visualize the design scheme. Click here to view sample storyboards.

4. Specifications & Sources

A list of the items we'll use to furnish your room, including links to their sources.

E-Design rates per room-type

$600/each: Powder Room, Entry Hall, Guest Bath

$1,200/each: Master Bathroom, Guest Bedroom, Child’s Room, Outdoor Area, Study/Home Office, Dining Room

$1,600/each: Living Room, Family Room, Master Bedroom, Kitchen

$300/each: A special color sketch of your room hand drawn by Carla

Exclusive Buying Opportunities

Opportunities to order certain “trade only” items through Aston Design Studio are available. Typically, we will use retail sources available to the general public; however if we see something from one of our sources that fits the bill perfectly, we will offer that as a second option at a discount off retail.
