Sometimes there’s just no place at the sink to put the towel bar or towel ring.
There are wall sconces, mirrors, medicine cabinets, tile, electrical outlets -- There's just so much stuff to put on the wall right at the sink!
But what do you think about putting a towel bar directly in front of the sink?
Do you think that would work?
Well, it has for me ;-)
I’ve done it this way in my bathroom, and I love it! It is sooo convenient, and it doesn’t get in the way, at all. IMO it’s the perfect location.
In my case, I used a refrigerator pull, 12” long. It’s just wide enough for a hand towel and offers plenty of depth away from the cabinet for a towel to comfortably hang through it. (Long cabinet pulls usually don't offer enough depth to hang a regular hand towel through, and towel bars are longer - at least 18” wide).
Besides, how often do you get into those under-the-sink cabinets anyway? Blocking them with a little towel isn’t going to hurt anything.
So, if there’s no wall space available for your towel, don't throw it on the counter (because no one likes that), hang it out front and center!
