A pattern of light provides an additional layer, or a finishing touch, to the overall context of a design.
The final word.
The icing on the cake.
And sometimes . . . It comes totally unexpected.
You can't predict how a fixture's unique pattern of light will “take” to its new space, how it will reflect, how it will accentuate its surroundings.
Will it make the walls dance? Will the ceiling come alive? Will the room take on a new personality?
Will it create the magic you intended?
Noone knows.
Until you turn on the light.
