It's not easy finding people to follow on Pinterest who consistently upload quality Pins.
Especially in the world of interior design.
So to make your Pinning experience more pleasurable, I've decided to start a directory. A directory of Pinterest Pinners who, more often than not, submit quality interior design Pins.
Their boards are beautifully organized and their style is impeccable. And they always give me what I'm looking for when I'm in search of creative inspiration.
So here they are, in no particular order of value, because they're all great in their own unique ways. Enjoy!
P.S. Click below to be updated on additions to this directory. It will be expanding...
◆ newly inducted PINNERS ◆
Isabeau Grey is a prolific and insightful design pinner with a distinctive style that's ever so apparent on her board, Gorgeous Grey. Beautiful, romantic, rustic, artistic, tasteful ... these are the adjectives that come to mind when I look at it.
I’ve been repinning her pins for months and, now that you know about her, you will be too!
Kathy Sue Perdue, one of my blogging and FB friends, actively peruses all the best blogs to keep her Pinterest Boards full of beautiful images. She also shares thoughts about design on her beautiful blog, Good Life of Design. (BTW: We're both predicting citrine/yellow to be 2014's Color of the Year! ;-)
Okay, this pinner is, quite simply, one of the most prolific pinners I’ve seen. With a very feminine style, 100,000 pins and 16,000 followers, you will find some amazing European styled interiors to peruse.
With over 2 million followers -- yes, that's right, I said 2 MILLION -- and 14,000 pins, this pinner / blogger from Maui has “young and lovely” done right all over her Boards. She has a light, sweet aesthetic that speaks volumes about her artistic style.
Arlene Stone, a FB friend and interior designer, is much like me; We both devote almost all of our pins to interiors. And I just love that in a pinner! With great architecture and beautiful gardens thrown in her Pinterest-mix too, her Boards are not to be missed.
Meredith Heron is a popular design blogger and interior designer. You’ve seen this image (look left) about a million times on Pinterest, blogs, etc. Well, it’s her work! So yeah, she knows a good pin when she sees one.
Leopoldina Haynes is a London antique dealer with an incredible eye for a beautiful Pins! As evidenced by her Boards, she knows her way around the field of interior design. Just peruse her Boards to see some of the world’s most top notch designers, and you'll be in-the-know in no time!
Okay, I’m not sayin’ I’m saving the best of this latest update for last, because they’re all amazing, but this one is ... well ... just take a look for yourself...
Thomas Murphy has the most finely tuned sense of style I’ve ever seen -- hands down! Masculine, dramatic, urban, artistic, they all describe his style. Rough and wild with some artistic flair thrown in, his Boards are a MUST-VISIT. This one will make your heart beat a little faster girls, because you can just envision the kind of man that would assemble these images. Manly, with the sweet, tender touch of an artist..... And with over a million followers, many others have found his boards simply irresistible too. Ooooo, I can just smell man all over his Boards. (And it smells gooood.) BTW: His website is ever so appropriately named BloodAndChampagne.com (Made ya look, didn’t it?)
(Did I say the word “man” enough times here?)

Linda Ervin, a Facebook friend and designer is an amazing pinner!
With 26,000 pins and just as many followers, she has a gorgeous hunk of square footage over at Pinterest. You will find a plethora of images to peruse, all curated with her keen sense of style. A must visit for sure!
Okay, there’s more art here than interiors, but I’m in love with the artistic curation of Joseph Serame Meneses’ boards nonetheless. Dramatic and graphic, you can tell he has quite the artistic eye. And interior design is, in fact, art ... don’t you think?
Debra Phillip is my next extraordinary pinner.
With over 10,000 pins and deliciously good taste, Debra has an wonderful collection of images. And after you've spent time enjoying them, click on over to her blog, 5th and State, where great design discussions are always going on. I’m always repinning her pins!
Kathryn is a Million Dollar Decorator, making her one of this list's biggest celebs.
I love her spirit and exasperation with clients. It’s refreshing to see how real she is. Let’s show Kathryn some love by becoming a dedicated follower of her outstanding pins.
RaeLynn DeGraffenried has everything a woman would love on her boards: French style, Italian style, and... Chanel.
Her Chanel board has -- drum roll, please -- over 12,400 pins! That’s right! With over 20,000 followers, there’s a reason why so many pinners are checking out her profile.
Joe Ruggiero, Sr. has such style and class, and his Pinterest boards reflect that. I pinned so many off his Americana board that I’m afraid he might think I was stalking!
You know that his experience and expertise in the world of design has honed his skill as a pinner of all things extraordinarily beautiful! Joe is a must visit.
Lynda Quintero-Davids is another person who undoubtably deserves the label: "Celebrity Pinner."
I don’t know when she sleeps! With over 3 million followers and 26,000 pins, I think she features just about everything you’d ever want to see from a pinner of interior design. Not only that, but her boards are so well organized and laid out, making it easy to find that special image you’re looking for to complete your gallery.
(You know what? I bet her sock drawer is color coded and categorized by type. Lynda, am I right?)
This person is an amazing pinner with a California coastal style, who calls him/herself an "Inspiration Curator."
Each pin is thoughtfully selected, and there are almost 15,000 of them to peruse throughout all their exquisite Boards.
Let’s just name Irene "The Grand Dame of Pinning" and call it a day.
Most of her 37,000 pins are in her Sonoma-style, and each are collected with her sharply honed-eye for design.
I love Irene’s taste, as well as her occasional well-turned comments.
Yes - THE Alessandra Branca. Her style is impeccable!
She has a great eye for finding emotionally moving and inspirational pins (her art board is my FAVE).
With over 5000 pins, you’re bound to find something pinned by Alessandra that will inspire you.
I love Jon Call’s work...AND pins! Everything is tailored, masculine and his Boards perfectly define his style.
As NYC's newest IT designer, Mr. Call Designs's work, as well as his 2500 pins, deserve your attention and admiration.
Haifaa was my Facebook friend way before Pinterest came along. She's just as sweet as she can be.
With over 42,000 pins (yes, that’s right) and 27,500 followers, Haifaa is a must-follow for anyone interested in design.
I know, I know... She probably doesn't belong in a directory full of interior design enthusiasts, but I'm including her in my list anyway!
Why? Because her pins are FUN. They provide a peek into the soul of one of music's most fascinating figures.
Oh, and her Man board is my fave. I need to start one for myself ;-)
If I had my way, I'd sit down with each of these pinners for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and just talk DESIGN.
By looking at their boards I can sooooo tell that we share the same passions, the same tastes, the same penchant for good design.
Like I said, this directory is going to continue to grow. So, if you know of anyone I should start vetting, mention them in the comments so I can keep my eyes peeled for what they're pinning.
Heads-up: Next week, I'll be opening up a BIG can of worms here on DESIGNED, because it will be...
Working With A Designer Week!
