Mixing varying shades of one color: It’s like an analogous color scheme.
Except it’s closer than that.
But it’s also tricky to pull off.
A green room could have everything from turquoise to hunter green to chartreuse in it.
A pink room: fuschia to pepto.
A red one: maroon to tomato.
But if you do it right — if you effectively take that one color and move it from warm to cool — you’ll have yourself a look that’s very unique, very bold, and very colorful.
