I just spent the past week moving my daughter across the country, from Houston to LA.
During that long stretch of packing and hauling and packing and hauling some more, I had had plenty of opportunities to think about the processes involved in moving, relocating, downsizing, and how to keep all of your stuff in control!
Stuff is overrated. Especially during a move. You just want to get all of it from one place to another. None of it has a name — to you it's all just a bunch of "stuff".
But after you move, once you've settled in to your new somewhere, you want your stuff back, asap.
Because stuff feels like home. It feels familiar. And you know what...
There's nothing wrong with that. ;-)
