Lately I've been working on tweaking my content to give all of you more of what you want to see and read about in the world of design.
The reader polls I ran a couple months ago identified most of my readers to be design enthusiasts, with about a quarter of you being design professionals.
And as a result...
I’ve decided to divide up my content a bit.
I’ve always tried to take questions and issues that come up in my everyday projects and write about the solutions, as well as address the paths and techniques we use to deal with them. These type of posts are great tools for the DIY-er or anyone considering a design project.
For example: The posts I have linked below about where to put the bathroom sconces and which direction to run the tile floor are great for design info. They show ways we address these issues on job sites and in design with examples and beautiful imagery, and serve as great posts for design enthusiasts. Many pros find these helpful to link to for their clients, as well. (Feel free to drop me an email with any topic you’d like to see covered here in the future.)
I’m really excited to be working on another page in my blog that is geared more towards the business challenges interior designers all face.
It will be coming next fall, so stay tuned for that. I have so much content already written, and I really didn’t want to unload a bunch of design biz topics here, where design lovers of all kinds visit.
Until then, I have one design biz post included below, written as a response to someone who wants to be designer. You might want to check that out, because that will be the type of discussions we’ll have on my new page coming out soon!
Enough of all this yakking!
Let’s enjoy some design love, here in today's edition of DESIGN REFRESH! ;-)
