Instead of delivering all kinds of hearts and flowers and chocolate to you today, I’m delivering a little bling, with some eye candy too. ;-)
While in Vegas at KBIS 2015, we attended a party at the Mandarin Oriental to view three amazing penthouse suites, each sitting right on top of the heart of Vegas, each designed in a contemporary style. And I’ve got the lowdown on some of the products used within, as well as some gorgeous pics of the par-tay.
The other home we visited on the final night of the trip was "The New American Home".
Built out in the desert, with a setting that was much different than the penthouses (but full of all the bells and whistles too), it had a more relaxed vibe while still favoring that Vegas lifestyle. A full-tour is featured in today's edition of DESIGN REFRESH. You're going to love it.
In the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some newly completed projects of mine.
Each of them are so far away from the contemporary style of these homes in Vegas that you will wonder if I’m a little design-schizophrenic! I promise you, though, I’m not. I just love good design and can appreciate it in all its forms and styles.
I learn something new about design and the industry that supports it every day that moves me forward and thrills me. Trips, like this one to Vegas, broaden my perspective on design and make me more well-rounded as a designer. And I’m grateful to Veronika Miller, Modenus, and our sponsors for including me in this select group of design devotees who were fortunate to attend.
Now onto today's edition of DESIGN REFRESH!
