Arranging furniture isn't just about creating a pretty space. There are psychological purposes that influence their placement too.
We situate our furniture in the round to create intimacy; we angle each piece towards one another to create a sense of belonging; and we limit the space between each piece to create the perfect setting for conversation.
Every detail is calculated with care, because we want to make sure that the next time loved ones are in the house, relaxed comfort and conversation can be enjoyed by all.
With that being said, I truly hope the arrangement of my virtual home, CarlaAston.com, does a good job of welcoming you into our community's daily conversations because, in addition to me sharing with you in this newsletter what I know about arranging furniture, I'd also like for you, and everyone else who's reading this, to pretend we're all sitting together in a room, with lounge music on the stereo, a glass of wine in hand, having a conversation about a topic everyone enjoys: Interior design trends!
Thank you, everyone, for coming over today! Feel free to stay as long as you want...
