The first time I saw this image, I was spellbound.
A sculpture placed in a window. In this case, as if the angel had just flown in to this little attic space to bestow a blessing or check in on someone.
It was just so simple, yet so profound.
It made me quiet. It made me feel a presence. It made me experience the space.
And isn't that the goal of every good design?
There's something about the light, the positioning, the one step away from the outdoors, that makes a sculpture in a window so compelling.
Since then, I've often thought of this space......every time I see a sculpture in a window.
