Personally, I like a rustic vibe in my interiors.
A bit of a mish-mash. A collected look. I like texture and neutrals and a liiiittle bit of large-scaled pattern and color thrown in to create a graphic, bold style.
Today I’m putting together a room that’s DESIGNED for me (and YOU!): a lounge space that incorporates all of the above. A space that I would enjoy living in and using in my own home.
I’ve traveled a lot (in my former life). And each time I went abroad I always managed to come home with something interesting.
Items like: furniture pieces, dishes, pots, bowls, art—just whatever interested me in a particular moment and place that made the experience memorable.
These days, I don’t travel much, because I’m always working and need to be available to keep tabs on all our on-going projects that are helping my business grow.
However, if I did have time to design a room from scratch for myself — you know, with the entire online world available at my fingertips — I’d still want to find a few unique, collectible items that would showcase my personality and rustic chic sense of style. And each one would come with a story, unlike those that come straight from the floor of a furniture showroom.
What else might I throw in the mix of this great lounge space?
Take a look below. I bet you, too, would enjoy this rustic chic living room just like me!
