Design Links You'll Love!
We’ve been working on lots of bathrooms lately. These three upstairs baths are for a former client of mine who just needed to freshen things up a bit. They want to put their house on the market, so we are updating for resale.
We don’t want to be too taste specific or spend a boatload of money. However, updating countertops, paint, lighting, and tile surrounds at the tubs are in order for a fresh and more inviting appeal. Their digital boards turned out kinda cool and I wanted to share them with you today.
I kind of love Vegas, even though I don't gamble at all, not even one slot machine! I don't know why, maybe because I come from humble beginnings in small town Texas, and the bright lights and big city opulence is kind of fascinating to me.
I took my husband this time and we met my daughter there for the weekend. I've got a few pics of some of glam and glitz of Vegas and then more on my market finds, below.
I recently came across some articles that I really wanted to share here, as opposed to only on social media. I found them really linked to the work I do and what I’m experiencing in design and think you design lovers out there might find them fascinating as well.
They range in topics from exposing the in-depth process that design is, how one designer is giving up her clientele and downsizing her business for more control over her life and projects, and how antiques are not the huge draw they once were to homeowners.

Some of my favorite items to lay my eyeballs on in person at market is art. It's just joyful for me, to walk through these showrooms lined wall to wall, floor to ceiling with art.
Today, I'm sharing some of my faves and you will see, there is something for everyone here. Traditionalists, Millennials, Entomologists......well, you'll see.
I’m sharing a before and after today of a home that we worked on some time back.
You see, this homeowner has moved out of state, and since we didn’t really go in and do all new furniture and style the place, I never got any finished photos. It ended up being sort of a partial remodel.
